I've long been a sucker for rockabilly:
Jason & The Scorchers,
Wanda Jackson,
Rosie Flores, etc. Accordingly, I wish I had a reason to be in Seattle next weekend for KEXP's
20th Annual Shake the Shack Rockabilly Ball on September 27-29 at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard, which is billed as the
"longest running rockabilly festival in the United States, with a three day celebration. "
Shake the Shack is a weekly program on
KEXP, which airs on Friday nights from 6-9 p.m. PST, but fortunately you can stream in the most recent show.
